Blue Cogs, Green Cogs

I did the green one first and liked the effect so repeated it in blue and red.

I gave the green one to David and Jo as a wedding present.

White Path

I love mazes so it was a logical progression to combine painting and maze making. This is a simple one I did early on, you shouldn't get lost in here!

Dad's Birthday Present

I went to Queensland in May as a surprise for dad's 70th birthday and while I was there I painted a picture for him. Well, to be honest, I painted two, he didn't like the first one so I did a new one, which thankfully he liked. I did a salvage job on the first one which turned out well and now hangs in our bedroom. See below (hopefully, if this all works the way it's supposed to!)

Wedding Presents

One way to guarantee newly weds don't end up with two toasters/microwaves/cutlery sets is to give them something nobody else will, like an original painting! Asher and Jaye and Greg and Demelza were the "lucky" recipients of these two pictures.

A recurring theme in many of my pictures are lines.

Parallel lines, concentric lines, diagonals and verticals and I like tracks and pathways too. I've always liked mazes, perhaps there's an influence there.

Price $100

An early one that I have since painted over.

Blue Wave

Much of my stuff is derived from doodles I've created while sitting in meetings (trying to stay awake!). This one is on my office wall and I'm very fond of it.

Price $150

First Attempt

Generously purchased by my Dad, delivered to Queensland on his 70th birthday in May 2006, damaged in transit, repaired, now hanging in the lounge room of his home in Gympie.
