13 Circles
This is my latest painting, completed last night. It's on a 30 x 30" canvas and it took me quite a while before I was satisfied that it was "finished". A number of people have commented that I have an "Aboriginal Style" . I can see it although it's not intentional. Their pictures tell a story, mine are just a combination of colours, lines and patterns that appeal to me, there's no hidden meaning or mythology, I just like the look of them.
One artist I was speaking to suggested I create a story to explain them. That sounds like manipulation to me. Mind you, under analysis they may reveal all sorts of things about me that are subliminal or repressed! Who knows?
Price $350
One Black Line, One Green Spot
I worked on this one for several days, much longer than I normally spend on a single painting! It's on a large canvas which always intimidates me a little. If I mess up a small canvas it doesn't seem to matter, but messing up a big one seems more serious somehow!!
I'm finally happy with it and several people expressed interest in it at the markets last week, though none of them put their money where their mouths were!
They missed their chance!

Navel
I started this one at last week's PD day, worked on it at The Breakfast Club and completed it at home a couple of days later.

37 Ways
The second of my two paintings in the Vasse Art Show. (Black & White in silver frame)
It hasn't sold either but it was only hung today because the glass cracked somewhere between home and the school and I had to replace it before it could go on display.

The White Path
Given to Alex when he came down for a weekend. He claims that when he showed it to his artist friends they raved about it, the technique etc!!!! He likes it, I like it, that's all that matters!!

Blue Cogs, Green Cogs
I did the green one first and liked the effect so repeated it in blue and red.
Price $100
I gave the green one to David and Jo as a wedding present.
White Path
I love mazes so it was a logical progression to combine painting and maze making. This is a simple one I did early on, you shouldn't get lost in here!
Price $100
